SAPUWA gets good result in food hygiene inspection of Health Service in March
Vietnam is stepping in the integrating and developing process, everyone can have opportunity to develop their own business and contribute to social. More and more business appear, especially business in bottled-drinking-water industry. That creates the strict competitiveness and more choices for consumers.
However, due to short-term profit, some bottled drinking-water producers can’t ensure the quality, not obtain the food safety-hygiene standards…that affect consumer’s health as means of communications announce during last time.
In order to intensify inspection for ensuring food safety-hygiene conditions especially bottled drinking-water type and to put these businesses into law for protecting consumer’s health, last time, Chief of Health Service has signed the Decision No. 320/QD8-SYT in establishing food hygiene inspection mission for bottled drinking-water, ice and tap water in 2009 to inspect the manufacture of bottled drinking-water, ice and tap water in Ho Chi Minh City without prior notice to producers.

In March 21st 2009, Inspection mission of HCMc Health Service combined with Chief of Go Vap Dist Public Health Bureau have come to Sapuwa Company to inspect the food safety-hygiene of company.
Sapuwa Company satisfies all requirements of inspectors, including considering legal procedures (trading license, certificate in having good-conditions in food safety-hygiene), documents of good’s quality (certificate of product’s standard and label registered in Health of Service of Company).The proofs that products are checked frequently and obtained Vietnamese regulations are still valid… The physiochemical, microorganism, hard metal, radioactive substances checking results (these substances can make people poisonous and cancer if they agglomerate in our body for a long time) of material and finished-products in Sapuwa Lab and Inspection Dept regulated by Government… And monitoring all conditions of food safety-hygiene in workshop, equipments, environment, lights, sewages, ventilations, restrooms, producing process, measures of checking quality in process, distribution, vehicles, working tools, hygiene and insect-killer programs. Requirements on human (periodical medical report, recruitment check-up, regulations on isolating source of infection, safety policy for workers in production area, training food safety-hygiene knowledge…), maintenance and distribution method to give products to customers…
As a result, the inspection mission comes to conclusion in food safety-hygiene of Sapuwa Company:
- Obtaining the Food safety hygiene standards in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
- Request company to continue conducting well the food safety-hygiene rules of law
Sapuwa Company receives the suggestion and engages to maintain and continue to uphold the business obtaining food safety hygiene standards not only in Vietnam but also in foreign countries.
