SAPUWA obtains good results in U.S quality test of product in April 20th 2009
Being the water supplier for famous foreign units that have strict demand on food safety-hygiene such as U.S Consulate…, during last 10 years, Sapuwa Company must satisfy the international regulations in food production and these rules are tested periodically by high-ranking experts who have experience in food quality management from 3rd organizations, European and America countries…
In April 20th 2009, Mr. Roger David Young Jr.CW3 – VC _ Food Defense & Safety Officer - Western Pacific District Veterinary Command Guam (Mr. Roger David Young is the expert in appreciating food suppliers for U.S Consulate in Asian countries…). As last times, Mr. Roger David Young came to Sapuwa to recheck all production activities of company and the obedience of U.S food safety regulations for every 6 months.

The test method is to inform the last result and, interview, consider documentations and monitor food safety-hygiene conditions on the premise, workshop,, stores, environment, light, production process, quality teat method in production process, distribution, vehicles, working tools, training… and to take any samples for test in U.S…
Sapuwa Company has satisfied all high demands of quality, manufacturing process, environment, responsibility after sales… for such strict customer as following:
1. About product:
The proofs for products tested frequently and obtained the regulations of VN, FDA, WHO… are still valid. All physiochemical, microorganism, hard metals, radioactive results … (these substances are the reason for cancer if they agglomerate in body for long time) of material resource and finished-products in Sapuwa lab and prestigiously domestic and foreign authorities …
Besides, U.S experts also took any samples in finished-products in store and in assembly line for test in their own lab of U.S to analyze and give feedback after testing. If the product is ensured and obeyed the standard, they shall sign the contract continuously and inform officially in U.S network.
The material test certificates (lid, bottle…) must be the plastic used in food industry – the one doesn’t affect the water) of suppliers are carried out by specialized authorities.
2. About production process:
It must be the automatically closed process and proved to be controlled during manufacturing process from the beginning to distribution phase according to international standard ISO 9001, SQF 2000 – GMP/SSOP/HACCP, FDA… (The standards regulate strict rules to ensure food safety hygiene in manufacturing, distributing process…)
The washing chemical substance: are only used in sterilizing package and specialized in food, imported from foreign countries, that is the important point in controlling the sterilized concentration and the excess after washing.
The testing and manufacturing equipments… must obtain the specified standard and be maintained periodically according to VN State and international regulation so as to ensure the absolute accuracy…
The worker must be trained frequently about food safety hygiene…as well as had medical check…
The engineers, leaders must be trained and certified by foreign experts together with skillful technicians.
Having the program to train professional knowledge in food safety for entire Sapuwa staffs.
The inspection is in the inner aisle of production area.
The manufacturing, maintaining and distributing process… must obey the food security process to prevent intentional contamination, bio terrorism Sabota.
3. About environment:
- The production are must satisfy GMP standards such as wall, floor, window, lights, emergency exit, tools, equipments to tidy workers before, during and after production…
- Controlling the workshop’s hygiene: Certificate before and after every shift must be clean.
- Production equipment must be made by special metal to prevent to affect food and be easy to clean.
- The requirements on human (medical check, recruitment health check, regulation of isolating source of infectious, safety policy for workers in production area…)
- The restroom and cleaning area of workers must have washing equipments according to international rules.
- Maintenance: Store must be clear, clean and have enough conditions to maintain food.
- Distribution: All vehicles must get the specialized requirement.

The result of testing the quality, physiochemical, hard metal… in U.S lab from any samples in finished-product store and assembly line of Sapuwa in the previous test October 20th 2008.
Sapuwa is continuously being chosen as the drinking water supplier for U.S units in VN and rechecked in next 6 months.
