Sapuwa finances the “International Math Olympic 2007 – IMO 2007”

Vietnam has officially become the host nation for the International Math Olympic 2007 – IMO 2007, which is held from July 19, 2007 to July 30, 2007 in Hanoi. This event attracts the attendance of more than 1511 pupils ands delegation’s leaders (including 1023 people from foreign nation and 488 people from Vietnam). This competition would be propagandized widely through domestic and foreign public communications. Information about the competition will be inserted and updated usually in IMO’s website at www.imo2007.edu.vn . The opening and ending ceremony of IMO 2007 is telecasted live in VTV-1, Vietnamese television.

Hosting such a big competition, as IMO is a great honor for Vietnam, in the other hand, it’s also a challenge for our country in organizing and advertising Vietnamese image to the world. In this competition, the president has assigned the Ministry Of Education, the Vietnamese Math Association, the Math Institute – Science And Technology Institute and the University Of Natural Science – Hanoi National University to this organization. The contest is aimed at the strategy of cultivating and training nation’s talents, as well as performing the foreign policy, guideline in integration of the Communist Party and government.

In order to give the holder a hand in organizing successfully this year’s International Math Olympic, Saigon Pure Water Company (SAPUWA) is glad to be the exclusive sponsor, serving drinking water for more than 1511 attendants during a month of IMO 2007, the total sponsoring value is over 100 million VND.
