SAPUWA Focuses on Enhancing Employees' First Aid Knowledge
Workplace safety is not only about complying with regulations but also depends on each individual's knowledge, skills, and ability to respond when unexpected situations arise. Basic first aid training helps employees recognize situations requiring assistance, conduct initial assessments, and coordinate appropriate responses within the scope of their training.
With a commitment to employee well-being and a safe working environment, SAPUWA organized the 2026 First Aid Training Program to equip its employees with practical knowledge that can be applied when necessary.
The program was conducted with guidance from representatives of Thong Tay Hoi Ward Health Station, including Dr. Tran The Thinh and Nurse Nguyen Thi Huong. A total of 30 employees were scheduled to participate, and all 30 attended the training session.

Key Topics Covered in the 2026 First Aid Training Program
The SAPUWA 2026 First Aid Training Program focused on fundamental knowledge and initial response skills for assisting injured or unwell individuals. The training covered situations that may require timely assistance both in the workplace and in everyday life.
1. Understanding the Importance of Workplace First Aid
Participants were introduced to the role and importance of first aid in the workplace. This foundational knowledge helps employees understand the importance of recognizing unusual situations, remaining calm, and seeking appropriate assistance when an incident occurs.
2. Basic First Aid Principles and Initial Response Procedures
The training covered fundamental first aid principles, on-site emergency response procedures, initial assessment of an individual's condition, and appropriate approaches to assisting an injured person. These topics helped participants better understand the essential steps to consider before professional medical assistance arrives.
3. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was one of the key topics included in the program. Learning about this technique helps employees understand the role of basic life support in emergency situations. In the event of an actual emergency, participants should promptly contact professional emergency services and follow appropriate guidance based on the individual's condition and their level of training.
4. Wound Dressing and Temporary Bleeding Control
Participants were introduced to basic principles of wound dressing and temporary bleeding control. These essential skills help employees understand how to provide initial assistance in the event of an injury, while recognizing the importance of proper handling and seeking medical attention when necessary.

5. Safe Transportation of Injured Individuals
The program also covered methods for safely moving injured individuals. Understanding the principles of assisting and transporting someone in an emergency helps employees recognize the risks of causing additional injuries through improper handling.
In addition to theoretical instruction, SAPUWA employees participated in practical exercises involving basic first aid techniques. These activities gave participants opportunities to familiarize themselves with essential procedures and better understand how to apply their knowledge when assisting someone in need.
Promoting Proactive Attitudes and Responsibility in the Workplace
Beyond professional knowledge, employees' active participation is an essential factor in the effectiveness of workplace safety training. During the session, SAPUWA employees attentively followed the instructors' guidance and actively participated in the training activities.

For businesses, training activities like this also provide an opportunity to assess employees' knowledge and skill development needs, supporting continuous improvements in workplace safety and employee well-being initiatives.
SAPUWA believes that creating a positive working environment requires collaboration between the company and every individual. Each employee plays an important role in following safety guidelines, proactively updating their knowledge, and contributing to a responsible workplace culture.
