Something to think about on the 16th anniversary of Sapuwa’s establishment day

Our country has 4.000 historic years, our people incessantly has built a wealthy and picturesque VIETNAM. Owing to our ancestors’s blood and bones sacrificed for freedom and independence, our nation has been independent, our people have been free, life has been more and more heightened. Our nation, our people have the right to hold our head high to ascend along with the era’s tempo and walk abreast other powerful countries.

A similar pattern existed at SAPUWA, which is just like a miniaturized country. Few people know the place of present SAPUWA premise 16 years ago was a wild plot of land covered by mud and grass. To be exact, 18 years ago, “a geological group” came and drilled more than 100m deep inside the earth to discover a source of pure water for life. After the success of finding out a water source that satisfied every technical number, the leader of the group, our General Director, got over all challenges, nuisances, and troublesome procedures to obtain the building permit…  

PERMIT OF ESTESTABLISHMENT OF

SAIGON PURE WATER PRIVATE ENTERPRISE (SAPUWA) .

After 2 years under construction, the factory began to go into operation on 26/09/1992.

It was the Director who experienced 2 years of struggling with procedure of permission, which was followed by another 2 years of struggling with the business world on the first days of consumption of the product.

In early 1990s, our citizens held the custom of drinking boilt water. Even hospitals, shools and governmental bodies were still unfamiliar with bottled pure water. Sometimes, our Director nearly collapsed and dropped off the plan because he had to devote his own money to pay the employees because of the deficit in the first 2 years. With the will of “No arrogance in victory, no defection in defeat”, he encouraged himself:

A fall is a wiser step

Who becomes wise without some failures

As there’s no life without challenges

We get up, smile and step up

And so, he continued sustainable steps to disseminate SAPUWA products to every part of the country, from high buildings in the city centre to the small house in a poor town.

Today we are in a magnificent SAPUWA,with a famous trademark, well-equipped factory and office with international certificates. Few people would know 15 or 16 years ago, all the office staff had to joint hands in production because of the primitive assembly line, resulting in short supply, especially on holidays, and few people would know the small house behind the security office (where the electric generator is set) was the very place that accommodated all SAPUWA workers’ parking. Such small comparision suffices it to prove the strong growth of SAPUWA. It is the very pride that helps us to hold our head up in font of our rivals, and furthermore, SAPUWA character is…

Although SAPUWA is a private enterprise, it has a full system of organizations and unions from Cell to Trade Union, Branch to the Red Cross…

We are living in SAPUWA and we have the right to be proud and develop fine traditions.

26/9 is coming, the day of the birth of SAPUWA’s first child. Who had the honor to touch these special items? As far as I know, they were the cleaner, the worker or the driver or the warehouse keeper. They have been so industrious and they are deserved to be the SAPUWA heroes and to be honored.

Let’s wish SAPUWA a happy day of establishment and let’s show our solidarity with hand in hand and stride on the path which our Director and our staff as a whole chose. It is:
