The Green Enterprise Program of Ho Chi Minh City is organized by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with relevant authorities, aiming to honor pioneering businesses in green transformation and environmentally responsible production and operations.

In 2025, SAPUWA was honored to take part in mangrove forest planting activities within the framework of HDBANK Green Marathon 2025—a sports event combined with environmental action carrying profound social significance. The program aims to promote a green lifestyle, encouraging the community to work together in environmental protection and climate change adaptation.

Mangrove forests are considered the “green shield” of coastal ecosystems, playing a vital role in:

• Reducing coastal erosion and landslides

• Absorbing CO₂ and contributing to greenhouse gas emission reduction

• Preserving biodiversity

• Supporting sustainable livelihoods for local communities

Through mangrove planting activities, SAPUWA not only makes direct contributions to environmental protection but also spreads the message of environmental responsibility to partners, customers, and the wider community.
