The Dalat tour of Sapuwa

Upholding our own cultural characteristic of company – human culture, every year, Labour Union of Saigon Pure Water Private Enterprise (Sapuwa) organizes for staffs to travel. It not only creates conditions for staffs to visit much beautiful scenery, to be relaxed and enjoyed comfortably but also helps them to build relations between colleagues as relatives in family

In 2009, because staffs have to take turn to work, the travel program is divided to stages, the first one is held from Dec 31st 2008 to Jan 04th 2009 (5days, 4 nights). Our destination is Dalat-the famous highland city with many landscapes and origin architecture. Especially, the temperate climate helps to improve health, creates energy for working better.

After many eager days, in the morning of Dec 31st 08, the first stage started from Sapuwa Company, had breakfast at Kieu Giang restaurant (T.Duc) and lunch at Bao Loc. In the car, everyone talk and laugh all time.

To Dalat, after receiving rooms, everybody started to arrange tables and seats to prepare buffet for welcoming New Year’s Eve outside. In the lawn of the stay, there is an ancient villa with Europe architecture and modern comforts. .. (The advance team came before 1 day to decorate lights, stage and prepare many delicious foods with chicken gruel, Jambon chicken, bacon, Russian salad, grilled crab, meat roll… and drinks such as Can wine, beer, soft drinks, lotus tea. About 07 p.m, everyone presented at the party, sang together and enjoyed music from many good singers of Dalat…

… Before the moment of welcoming New Year’s Eve, Mr. Binh (Suong NGuyet Anh store) represented to wish Sapuwa and everyone a happy new year and good things. All gathered to dance in the music of “Happy new Year” song…

The most eager and interesting part is the time when the Director announced and gave 4 prizes for “persons with the most beautiful dress in new year” through votes of members in party, the prize is more than 1.000.000VND. After that, everyone enjoyed the delicious grill cooked by Mr.Huy (Dept of Administration and Organisation) in joyful and exciting atmosphere.

From Jan 01st to Jan 04th 09, Sapuwa members went sightseeing many beautiful legendary scenery such as: Love valley, Prenn Fall, Mong Mo Hill, Xuan Huong Lake, Than Tho Lake… with famous pagodas and markets: Truc Lam Zen monastery…Together with enjoying view, we also took part in entertainment activities such as: going canoe around Da Thien lake, visiting Prenn Fall by telpher; many children were interested in wearing dresses like mountain girls and postured beside communal house, big elephants… to take photograph. So tired, we enjoyed ice-cream at the mid of slope. So hungry, we went into the roadside restaurants to enjoy special food with cauliflower soup, tossed salad, fried vegetables and free bananas. Everyone talked to each other “Nowhere can have fresh vegetables and fruit as here” .And we also bought many colourful hand-knit jumpers and hats with fine stitch but cheap price to bring to the city for relatives, Products of Dalat includes fresh and dried fruits: plum, avocado, peach.., Artichaud tree…, flower and hand-made souvenirs of Dalat.

In the evening, sometimes we gathered to drink tea, coffee and enjoyed sweet batata at the stay, shared working and living experiences to each other, sometimes we went to coffee shop at Dalat market to sip coffee and view Dalat at night, or sit in the roadside to enjoy hot soy milk in cold
weather

In Jan 04th 09, Sapuwa members returned to the city and ended the visit.

Coming back to daily work but everyone feel healthier after relaxed time, especially we really feel closer to each other and company.
