SAPUWA accompanying the Green Health Journey brings joy to people

In the exciting atmosphere of summer, amidst the stretching green rice fields of Long An, a meaningful program took place on July 20 and 21, 2024. That is the program "Medical examination and treatment for people in difficult circumstances, especially people in remote areas" with the theme "Green Health Journey", a cooperative initiative between the Young Businessmen Association Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Duc Branch, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the companionship of Sapuwa.

This event is not only a normal medical examination and treatment activity but also a warm journey, bringing joy and hope to hundreds of people in difficult circumstances. During the hot summer days with sudden rains, when many people were enjoying their vacations, doctors and volunteers did not hesitate to travel long distances, overcoming bumpy red dirt roads to to remote areas, where medical facilities are limited and people have many difficulties in accessing medical services.

At the program, doctors and nurses dedicatedly examined patients, gave health advice and distributed free medicine to people. Common diseases such as flu, headaches, gastrointestinal diseases... are examined and treated promptly by doctors. In addition, the program also organizes nutrition consulting and environmental hygiene activities, helping to raise people's awareness of the importance of taking care of their health and that of their families.
